As a tenant,

This is a package that is taken out by tenants (renters) to cover personal property and liability owned by the tenant and not the responsibility of the landlord. This option comes with the following benefits.

Covers loss or damage to personal belongings like furniture, household goods, electrical equipment and other personal items if they are stolen, destroyed by fire or other insured event

Covers items that are taken out of the house like jewelry, laptop computers, mobile phones, cameras etc.

Up to Two domestic workers are covered for free.

Covers legal liability in respect to third party injury or damage to property parties arising from the policy holder’s negligence as owner or occupier of the property insured under the policy.

This package is dedicated to you who owns your home that is occupied solely as private dwelling house.

Covers a private house or flat including domestic outbuildings, fixtures and fittings, walls, gates and fences all on the same premises.

Personal Accident cover

An Accident can be a financial emergency in no time.

Personal Accident Cover provides monetary compensation in the event of bodily injuries, disability, or death caused by violent, accidental, external, or visible means, all subject to the option that you select.

Who can be covered?

We cover people who are between the ages of 18 and 64 years. Persons below 18 years can only enjoy cover under their parents/guardians policy

Golfers’ insurance cover

Golfer’s insurance provides you with cover against accidents on the golf course or within the club premises.  Golfers’ insurance covers the following items:

  • Equipment Cover – The cover provided for your equipment is such that in the event of a claim you would receive new equipment at your original purchase price, regardless of its age. (Or however the policy dictates)
  • Personal Liability – Protection of your legal position, should you damage property or injure another person whilst playing golf.
  • Personal Accident – Should you be unfortunate enough to sustain a serious injury on the golf course, you will be compensated. Hole-In-One Cover- Pay your club-bar bill in the event you score a hole-in-one.

Student personal accident cover

Student Personal Accident Cover provides monetary compensation in the event of bodily injury sustained by the insured student. The injury must be caused by violent, accidental, external, and visible means subject to the option selected by the insured and will compensate the affected member. Subject to the terms and conditions, the Student Personal Accident Cover will provide benefits under the following categories.

  • Permanent/ Total disability
  • Tuition expenses following an accident.
  • Dental/Optical injury treatment
  • Emergency accidental medical expenses Artificial Appliances
  • Funeral Expenses

Bonds insurance

This are guarantees that may from time to time be required by other parties to be executed by an insurance company to certify that the insured will observe or maintain a certain state of affairs or will perform a certain task to the required standard or as per an agreed contract.

The bonds will include

  • Customs Bonds
  • Immigrations/Security Bonds
  • Performance /Contractor’s Bonds
  • Tender /bid bonds
  • Financial Guarantee Bond

Upon executing such a bond as requested, The Insurer acts as the guarantor, and is bound to pay a defined amount of money should the person/party so guaranteed, fail to meet the terms and conditions of the contract with the third party.

Crop insurance

What does it cover?

Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI)

Covers against physical loss or damage to growing crops directly caused by assorted natural calamities such as Drought, Uncontrollable Pests & Diseases, Hailstone Damage, Flooding, Fire, Lightning, Earthquake, Explosion, Frost and Windstorm.

Named-Peril Crop Insurance (NPCI)

Covers named perils in the policy

Forest Insurance

This is cover for commercial tree farms, fruit orchards, natural forests and tree nurseries against; fire, lightning, windstorm, flooding, hail etc.

Area Yield Index Insurance (AYII)

A seasonal cover for crop yield shortfall below the historical average yield in a unit area of insurance (UAI)

Weather Index Insurance (WII)

A seasonal cover for loss or damage to growing crops directly caused by deficit or excesses in weather conditions such as temperature, sunlight, wind speed or rainfall.

Livestock insurance

The policy compensates against death of insured livestock as a result of various perils namely uncontrollable diseases including epidemics, calving down, accidents, emergency slaughter on medical grounds, fire and related perils.

It can be extended to cover; Transit risks, Theft cover as well as Loss of income benefit
